I am unable to revise an item and get get through on phone

I tried to add something to an item I am selling tried calling but line goes dead

What are you trying to revise - specifically?

Auction or fixed price?

If auction, do you have bid(s) on the listing?

How much time is left before the listing ends?

I have a Samovar in fixed price,wanted to add a detail.Revise opens up but won't let me change anything.3 days left.Tried calling get ans this call maybe recorded 4 beeps and nothing

How exactly are you trying to "add a detail"?

Since the listing have plenty of time, you should use the "revise" function (from the listing or your "my eBay" or "Selling Manager") and edit the description to "add a detail" or make whatever change is needed.

Then "submit" the change.

Another possibility is a problem with either your computer or your browser (it does happen from time to time).  Close the browser, open another one and try again.

Another possibility is the fact you have an open offer on that listing.  eBay may consider that open offer like a bid and refuses to allow changes or revisions while the offer is pending.

If that is the case, I suggest you reject the offer and make the change.

You can make limited changes if you have a pending Best Offer. After you respond to the Best Offer, you can change any information except the format and duration.
