You can ask the seller if they will cancel it but

they are not obligated to do it.

Did it show a chain in the listing anywhere.

Was a chain mentioned at all.

Did you even read the listing before buying or read it as an afterthought.

If you're referring to the pendant, there was mention of a chain nor was a chain shown in the picture. The seller is not obligated to cancel the completed transaction. If the bidding was still active, they might have been willing to cancel your bid but don't hold your breath on a transaction cancellation. Ebay is now punishing sellers for cancelling transactions so don't be surprised if the seller refuses to cancel and issue an unpaid item strike instead.Pay to avoid the strike and then find a nice chain to go with the pendant.
