A new buyer bought an item not reading the heading or the description until after the purchase. Then left messages as to how I could sell an item not in perfect condition all within the same day of purchase. The next day (thats when I noticed it) I sent a mutual cancellation out. To my surprise the Buyer left a stupid worded feedback about not wanting a cracked tea cup and I had no choice but to leave the new buyer an even stupider response. Now after some time I want it removed. I believe it was a malfunction in the eBay system to let a feedback be left after a cancellation. Your Thoughts.

Hi .. Its been nearly 6 months and really nothing can be done to remove. Feedback is only blocked with an unpaid not a mutual cancellation.
Buyer left a positive so cannot be changed and any revision for neutral/neg must be filed within 30 days.
Its just not a feedback that is harmful and buyers generally don't bother reading positives.

Mutual Cancellations are useful when both parties agree that the transaction should not proceed.
If the buyer was unhappy, he should have contacted you through eBay Messages so you could work it out.
Normally the buyer returns the item and the seller then refunds. If the seller wants to, he can also refund the return shipping.
Then and only then is feedback left.
It is very difficult to have feedback removed, usually only for vulgar obscene or racist language.
You left a Response to his dumb feedback, drawing more attention to it. You could leave another Response apologizing for the first one, but all that does is draw even more attention.
Learning curve.
Move on.
