I had a hockey card that a buyer had successfully met the reserve price. The following day his bids were gone and the card was back in reserve not met statis.

WOW...17 bid retractions in 6 months.... looks like they are abusing the system and should be reported.

At the very least he should be blocked. 🙂 This person seems so indecisive if he were allowed continued access to your items he could mess up your auctions without a scintilla of regret. Everyone makes mistakes, but with that many retractions, I'd say you might like to add him to your list of blocked bidders:
