The only answer is...there is no answer. Sell and pay the fees, or don't sell low price/parcel rate postage items here at all. A store subscription would make no difference whatsoever other then to increase total fees paid ~$15/month. That some people can save up to 6% of the gross with a store is irrelevant to the op who's items don't
What I'm saying is simply that he could turn his scenario around, and make more money with lower proportional fees if he's interested in expanding and interested in properly setting up his listing strategies to benefit from breaks on shipping FVFs. The reason he's paying too much on shipping FVFs is because he's using an old eBay formula which in my view doesn't work well anymore.
That of course is up to him and his personal plans. However many sellers on eBay do sell similar items successfully.
