I just sign up ebay account .  I would to buy item from the states and want it to send to a friend's address in the states but it will send to Canada address because of the account.   How can i do to make request for this item to be sent to the states address ?

Hello John,

You cannot add a foreign address to a Canadian paypal account.  A seller is required to ship the item to your registered paypal address, - whether that is on a paypal account or your credit card's billing address.  Yours is a common question here.

Some online venues allow you to ship elsewhere as gifts, but not here.  You can add all the US addresses you want to your ebay account, but it makes no difference.  Unless the shipping address matches the source of the $$, the seller would lose all seller protection by shipping elsewhere.

What you could do is buy the item and have it shipped to you in Canada, then inspect it when it arrives to make sure it is what you anticipated, and then send it on to your friend yourself.  Not much, but better than nothing. 🙂
