Hello!
Last weekend I attempted to purchase a book from someone from Japan. My bank didn't pay it through and left me a negative balance on that was giant. I lost over eighty dollars trying to fix it...and the seller isn't listening to me at all.
I've been having a lot of troubles with paypal since then with money, and I cannot fork out even more money to pay fully for the book. And so far, this seller is doing absolutely horrible at communicating (which is surprising considering they have a 100% rating).
I keep telling them my concerns in multiple messages and all they've been doing is repeating over and over that I have yet to pay, completely ignoring everything I'm saying and ignoring the fact that because of all of the issues I cannot pay, as I don't exactly have a money tree in the backyard. Today I finally called them out on this and demanded for the transaction to finally be canceled as my patience is growing unbearably short.
I'm somewhat nervous that they'll ignore that to and continue to demand for payments and that I cannot pay that open a dispute on ebay over it.
I already had a bit of troubles with them before. I bought another book last month from them and was having troubles there too because they hadn't specified shipping to Canada - I told them a problem, it was completely ignored until I found out that I could actually pay for it, which wasn't too long after buying it.
Is there any way to deal with this? I'm not sure if either she is truly a poor seller, or if we're having some heavy language barrier problems here. But this is the most trouble I've ever had with canceling a transaction before and it's becoming quite the annoyance.

Just state "NO MONEY, CANCEL PURCHASE. SORRY". They should understand that.
Next time, be sure you have enough money BEFORE bidding on, or buying an item.

If they are an experienced seller, they will probably file an unpaid item dispute and you will get a strike.
It sounds like you purchased from them before and didn't pay then? A month later and you're still having problems? Can you see why the seller is ignore you if you still claiming to have problems a month later? (or it could the the language). You should not bid on anything until your money issues are straightened out.
