I've lost my drafts!!!!!

I have been spending the last 3 weeks revising all my listings in draft format.  I checked today and only 249 are there, what happened to the 600 I saved?  I thought I could at least save 1000 in draft format.  Just lost 3 weeks of hard work.

Drafts disappear after 30 days. Is it possible some were as old as that?

No, I have been doing them since the 22nd of last month.  I lost about 3 weeks worth, now it is a mess as I have interfiled the new CD's in with the old CD's.  What a mess.  I blame this on Canada Post and the union.  If there wasn't any labour issues, I would have not closed down.  Now it will take me a few weeks to straighten out this mess.

I'm sorry to hear it. I lost a handful of drafts a few years ago but it was due to the 30-day expiration. I don't know of anything else that makes them vanish.

It looks like you can only save 250 drafts.  So all the time I spent for the 600 that disappeared is gone.  Raphael said that I could save 5,000, he was wrong.  I wish he would have given me the correct info, so I wouldn't have wasted about 600 x 10 minutes = 100 hours.

So I did a search on .com and it looks like 250 is the max drafts that you can save.  

During the July 29 and August 5 weekly chats, I queried Griff on the quantity and duration of saved drafts.  He agreed to look into the matter and today he posted a detailed reply at the end of the August 5 chat (message #99).

Apparently, the maximum number of drafts is 250 and the duration is 30 days from the most recent edit.  The number of "visible" drafts depends on what device you are using and whether you are using Selling Manager or not.  

I wish Raphael had't told me it was 5,000, I could have save myself 100 hours.

Oh dear. Is it possible he has Drafts confused with something like Inventory from Selling Manager Pro? I never use the Pro version because I found it to be too messy on my workspace but I remember that it seemed to have more functions. Or some aspect of the Migration Tool?

Definitely, you should let him know about the error.

So I have been working about 6 hours a day since July 10th to revise and list the drafts I lost.  I only have about 20 hours to go, Boy did this set me back or what, 100 hours of work for nothing.
