I have been selling on eBay for a few months but I'm still confused when it comes to shipping the items. I usually resort to going to a Canada Post office knowing I won't screw up anything when mailing the items. I do agree it is pricey! But wanted to know if I were to use the PayPal print and go option to ship my items, how accurate will my measurements and item weights be? Also, if I use PayPal to ship the items I sell on eBay, does it provide a tracking number and the option of signature confirmation? That's where I'm lost.
Any help please!?
Thanks a bunch!!! 🙂

I can only tell you from the USPS side of Paypal shipping. For small items, measurements are not necessary but weight is (it may be different for Canada Post).
Paypal provides a delivery confirmation number (this is not tracking but provides you with electronic proof an item has been delivered). With USPS, delivery confrmation is about 19 cents when using online labels and 90 cents if bought at the Post Office. Delivery conformation for Priority Mail is free with online labels.
Paypal does provide an option to choose signature confirmation but I have never used it.
One of the nice things about paypal labels is that once created, paypal sends an email to your buyer letting them know a label was created for shipping which eases their mind and they won't have to ask if the item had been shipped. Another thing that paypal does is it will automatically insert the confirmation number into the listing summary. So when the buyer checks the items they've purchased, the conformation will show for that item.
As I previously mentioned, I only know paypal from the USPS side. It may be different with Canada Post.

Thanks for the reply. I find USPS to be quite expensive to ship items through them in Canada. For two clothing items,I was given a quote with "discount" which totaled to approx $65. I quickly found my way out the door.
