Documentation RequiredInformation regarding Customs can be found in "Customs Requirements" of the Canada Postal Guide. Declarations should give full and true amount of the number of packages, case description of goods, value, weight, measure or quantity and country of origin of goods. The following documents are required: 1. Invoice or Purchase Bill Other than the above documents, importers should also provide documents related to the imported goods required by Customs coinciding with the declaration of goods such as: 1. Certificate of Origin 2. Certificate of Analysis 3. Approval Permit 4. Import License issued by the relevant Government Department/Agencies 5. Verification Certificate of a recognized foreign agency 6. Personal qualified to declare In addition, all articles mailed to Brunei Darussalam other than letters, unless sent to a private individual, require two copies of the original invoice. The address side of the article should be endorsed Invoice enclosed. British-made goods require a Certificate of Origin. Medicines The Customs legislation of Brunei Darussalam prohibits the importation into its country of letter post items and postal parcels containing medicines or medical products. Any consignment of this nature must be submitted only when its accompanied by a purchase invoice certified by a competent medical authority. The postal administation prohibits the inclusion of lottery tickets and national lottery or gambling transactions in postal items. |
