Hi,
I am a new seller and have recently started selling our comic book collection. I am offering international shipping, I live in Canada. For some reason the shipping costs I am charging for International shipping is also showing as the shipping costs for USA shipping. I do not wish to charge the same amount for USA as I do for UK ect. Is there anyway I can specify which country gets what shipping? and if so how? so far I have been altering the shipping costs by sending invoices to the seller, but sometimes they beat me to the punch and pay. No one has complained about shipping costs yet, but in some cases the shipping charges are double the price of what I actually have paid to ship them and I'm starting to feel a little sleezey about it LOL. any advise/assistance would be appreciated 🙂

Your basic problem seems to be that you are missing or misunderstanding the dropdowns.
Have you noticed that you can choose "Custom Location" more than once? The first time choose USA. Fill in your info as needed, then click on "Offer Additional" . This time choose the overseas countries you will ship to, BUT don't choose either USA or North and South America.
If you do this will overide your USA S&H.
Now under Additional Ship To Locations-Dont specify anything! These destinations repeat the ones you have already chosen and once again will overide your choices.

BTW, if your shipment is under 2 cm thick and 500 grams you can use Flat Rate Shipping - choosing LetterMail/LetterPost/Light Packet as the service.
The good points are that these are reasonably cheap (from 61cents to $14.80 depending on weight and destination) and travel quickly, often by Air Mail internationally.
BUT the envelopes are neither insured nor Delivery Confirmed. So don't use this to ship that Superman #1.
Small Packet is insured and Small Packet Air International is often the most reasonable way to ship overseas. You don't bother with Paypal in case of a problem, you go straight to Canada Post.
However, if your items are valuable (and you choose what you think is valuable) use Expedited which is both insured and Delivery Confirmed. The extra cost is usually worth it, if only for peace of mind.
