Is it alright to ask a seller to leave feedback if you have just left positive feedback for them ?

If as a buyer I don't leave feedback for a seller its because I had a small issue with the purchase but did not feel the need to complain or leave them  negative feedback.

There was a seller who did not leave feedback in response to my own yet left feedback for others.. Should I politely ask them to leave feedback ? Or is this considered "pushy" on ebay?

You can always send a polite message asking to leave feedback.

Feedback is optional for both buyers and sellers, however. I don't see a reason as to why one would not leave feedback, but if the seller refuses (for whatever reason), you do have to respect that.

Certainly ask.  Let them know you left positive feedback.  Ask if they would please do the same or let you know if there was a problem. Sometimes they just forgot, or thought they had left feedback already.

But, as mercuriosales said, if they don't want to leave feedback, or say they will but don't, that is their choice.
