Is it possible to transfer an ebay account to someone else? (partnership disolving).

I have 2 friends who have an ebay partnership and the primary holder is looking to get out of the business but the second owner does not wish to lose the account and is looking at possibly bring in a new partner (me). I would also close this account since it is not used for anything.  Any help with how to do these things would be appreciated.
