It pays off the bid on listings in Ca funds

I find when I bid on item(s).
I get better deal when bid on listings in Ca funds.

When I bid in U.S. funds.
It gives an estimate as to how much it will cost in Canadian funds. For example I won bid something
about $0.92 U.S. It estimated to be about $1.19 Ca. U.S., but it turns out about $1.22 Ca. the actually amount I had to pay.
Now where did this .03 cents increase come from ?
Is it fees have to pay to E-bay. Or fees which
the seller gets ?

When I pay in auction listed in Canadian funds when I won a bid in
auction what it says is what I actually pay.

So that is why I say it pays to bid in Canadian
funds.

In US funds the exact amount is unknown until you click to pay for it.

paypal charges a fee to convert currency (around 2.5%), which is where your extra money goes.

But Pay Pal doesn't mention- they charge a fee to convert currency (around 2.5%) when you pay in U.S. funds.
