Yes, I know the reply by Bryan was with respect to the "item search by bidder" issue that Pierre brought up.
That was in fact my point -- that perhaps eBay made the feature deliberately inaccessible due to concerns raised in the article posted above (concerns about others getting too much access to buyer history and personal information).
I realize you aren't able to discuss security issues, but these things are worrying for seller and buyer alike.
