It wouldn't be so bad if it just asked for your password. But it asks you for your name too? Doesn't eBay know your name already? What security issue is so great that you have to prove that you know your own name? Jeeez.

With Mozilla Firefox, I know of cookie memory problems. You need to clear cookies cache often to reduce the number of times you need to sign in. (Problem seems to only happen with eBay).

Yes, thanks, but the problem occurs with all programs, not just that one. And everyone I know who uses eBay has the same situation. Not to mention the people in this thread who are just as frustrated. It's clearly asking for varification a little too often.

It doenst happen with the same frquesncy on the US site (.com) so I guess we are special at .ca.

I don't know, it happens to me a ridiculous amount of the time and I only use the .com site (except for this board).

It's truly a pain in the a$$, I especially love the part where it asks me to log in and then tells me my browzer is not set to accept cookies (oh? seemed to be fine 20 seconds ago!).

Security is one thing, this is just plain annoying. I certainly hope that buyers don't encounter this situation too much of the time.
