Linking up - a problem for those of us with TWO Paypal accounts

When eBay brought out the new feature to directly link Paypal, I initially thought it was a good idea.  However, I now realize, it doesn't work very well for some of us.

In my case, I have two Paypal accounts, one for personal purchases, one for business.  So whenever I buy something, I used to be able to choose which Paypal account I want to pay it with... and all was good.

But as eBay now prefers me to link up, yet I can only link up one Paypal account at a time.  So this now becomes a real pain in the ass.  I actually refuse to link up now, just so I can maintain the ability to choose which account I pay with.

To complicate matters, I've now run into sellers who won't sell to me unless I've linked up to Paypal.  *Arg*  This means I have to link it up, then unlink again after my purchase each time.  How irritating!

I can't be the only one with this issue.  Is there a good solution?

Do you pay with a credit card through your Paypal account? Perhaps you could just use one account but have 2 different credit cards attached to it...one for business and one for personal.

How about using two different eBay IDs? You can keep each one permanently linked to a different PayPal account.

That works if your business and personal shopping are done at different times - you just sign in with the appropriate ID.  If you like to mix business with personal in the same shopping session, you would have to sign out and in a lot, but perhaps that's easier than linking and unlinking to PayPal

problem solved. That's what most ebay buyer sellers do.
