NPB Alert no more accessible - any suggestions?

Hi,

Since new FB rules start shortly, I stopped to send NPB alerts - I am afraid of a retaliatory feedback (I am sure that every NPB will leave tons of negatives - unpunished). Any suggestions?

Don't be afraid!

Did NPB's you filed disputes give you negs in the past? If not do you think think will change in the future? I don't.

Why stop sending NPB alerts if client doesn't honor transaction ? Its rediculious . Don't let feedback retaliatory rule you. You shouldn't let people dictate your business with feedbacks. If you are offering the best service.

To my feeble old mind it is more important to send a NPB in than to send a negative feedback. As soon as a "gem" customer gets 3 NPB from 3 sellers he/she/it is gone from Ebay and can not make any Ebay sellers life miserable any more.

We no longer leave any feedback automatically - we will only leave feedback if REQUESTED by the buyer.

We have turned of the auto-feedback feature in protest to ebay's decision not to let sellers leave negative feedback.

Why do you guys care about feedback so much? Yes, it's nice to see the numbers going up, but the reason we are here is not good marks, that's what schools are for. I am here to make some dough.

If you never got negative feedback from a non-paying bidder, then you are lucky. Almost all the negatives I got were from these dead-beats, including some neutral, even though I don't leave negative feedback as a rule. When they do, I neg them too. Now eBay had decided that is not fair that sellers should retaliate like that.

When are they going to realize that when a person does not pay for something, there is no sale, no contractual relationship, he is not a purchaser and should not be allowed any rights to leave feedback.

dipmicro: Its not a vanity issue, its an economical issue. Each negative received results in loss of some sales.

gifts_of_elegance, I was very upset about my first undeserved negative feedback, and you don't even know the other half of it.

Lost revenue ... perhaps, but maybe this is overrated. When I am buying on eBay, I have no problem distinguishing undeserved negs from deserved ones. Those people that do not have mental capacity to distinguish deserved and undeserved, are good prospects for trouble customers 🙂

Every successfull seller here on eBay gets lots of negs. It's because certain percentage of people are ignorants, it's the same group that shops with me or you or anybody, just they are too busy making money to care. To be honest, I'd rather be insanely busy making money than tame my FB to perfection by giving free refunds and singing my customers good-nigh lullaby.

I didn't get any, because I had the possibility to leave a negative, too. I was cheated, threatened, blackmailed, etc.
Of course, the buyers will transform into real angels now . 😉

Economically, I am not sure if it will have any impact on my sales. Probably a little, if any ... It's more a question of equality and justice ... but who cares ...everything is permitted, if brings money ...isn't..? 😉
