There are 800 million listings on eBay at any given moment.
The best way to judge a seller and her products is to read her feedback.
98% positive feedback is pretty bad.
Any Detailed Seller Rating under 4.5 Stars means the seller is on the verge of being closed down by eBay.
But while a lot of negative and neutral feedbacks may seem terrible, remember to look at the percentage too.
A seller with 100 sales and 20 negative feedbacks is horrible, and won't be around for much longer.
A seller with 100 000 sales and 200 negative feedbacks is pretty good, given that there are always people who won't be happy.
Since this sounds like a product sold at a low price by an Asian seller keep these thoughts in mind:
- You get what you pay for
- It should arrive in 30 days or less
- If it doesn't arrive in 30 days, 40 at the most, open a Dispute and get your money back
- Never accept an offer of a replacement, it won't arrive either. You want your money, dang it!
- Your time is worth 18 cents a minute at minimum wage.
