List Fixed or Auction 5,000 listings.  Fixed are for only some categories.

I used to use TL but due to bugs, image issues, and java script errors, I quit using it. I now use inkfrog and have been able to set up both auctions and fixed in 2 separate files. I like fixed as you can import them to other sites.

Maybe 1 reason why Ebay wants less fixed and more auctions as some of the other sites don't import auction listings.

Ebay in their wisdom or lack of same thinks they are doing a great and wonderful job. Listings for a week instead of a month are a pain, and can't use multiples with auctions. I certainly won't move up from a basic store and refuse to pay listing fees when the sales are as bad as they are. You would figure Ebay would allow all listings free with all the problems they have.

I predict that one day Ebay listings will be FREE...........but who knows when that might be.  If and when that happens, store prices and end listing fees will go up to compensate.   Ebay would then make a ton more money than they do today.  Ebay executives would need to think through the consequences (Risk) and opportunities (Gain) of such a move.  Their competitor "The River" has been doing that for some time.
