Other crap from ebay regarding the New ebay "rewards" for seller. Because of the high shipping cost of Canadapost, I believe only those "Sell to Canada only" seller can get the 20% off FVF rewards.

Thanks..I'm soo stupid lol I was looking at Nov invoice.
It's a good thing I got the discount..man the fees are a killer. Hopefully I can keep my DSR's up & continue getting the discount, but I know it's only a matter of time before another newbie kills me..I'll continue to offer the best service possible & hope everything goes smooth. Biggest problem I can see would be CP slow shipping..even Xpress Post is taking up to 10 days to arrive.

You no doubt provide good service so the key to maintaining good numbers is communication especially if you get a whiff of a "problem".

One other thing, if you can increase your volume of transactions you can somewhat insulate yourself from occasional star-dingers. Lower volume sellers should give some thought to selling some lower cost and/or low profit items just to keep your numbers up. If you have enough volume then even a bunch of 4's won't affect your ratings very much at all and really helps if you do get a wingnut star-banger.

I've been on the receiving end of the delayed service..so far so good for my packages. Only a couple delays to the US which is always very unpredictable!!

I will continue to offer the best service I can provide...All I need now is more product. How does one go about becoming a retailer? I would like to buy wholesale products from the states. I'm guessing the gov website would be my main source of info. Are there any rolls of red tape I should watch out for?

Most wholesalers will deal with you if you order enough product.

My shipping costs DSR rating is dropping, and I have no control over it. it iwll drop even more with Canada Posts Jan increases, I am sure.

I only charge actual postage & $2.00 handling (and for many packages, that $2 does little to cover the specialty packaging and materials by a long shot.)
