Congratulations! That's exciting. Was this the China mix? I was compelled to look at your Sold items since I was curious as to what this white-hot commodity would be. One day when I am in the business of collecting to please myself, I think stamps would be an excellent place to be. They are lovely to behold.

Seek and Ye shall find!
There have been times when I lay back to count the bumps on the ceiling.... and fall asleep for a few minutes.
I dream about a certain book...
I wake up... Check my computer... and Guess What... The book in my dreams sold!
Or...
I will look at a shelf of books in my inventory... and the book I pulled sells within 24 hours....
Or...
I am looking for books at a thrift store..... Walk down past the shelves.... I stop look to my left.... and there is a super book I always look for..... sold for $150.......
Sometimes the books I look for Call out to me... Please come and get me....
and .....finally I was at a garage sale... looked at the tables... left to right... right to left ....but was hesitant to leave... kept looking
and ......There was a book under a box of books... 90 % hidden....Took it... Paid $1.00... and ....Sold for $750 US which was close to $950 Canadian... sold on the last day of February in 2009...

However China stamps are my "iphones" of the stamp world. The large majority of "lost" packages are China stamps. They are quite popular and sell well.....and unfortunately tend to attract more problem folks....
This particular "product line" must have some very interesting stuff in it. I've sent many registered letters to China in the last few weeks, almost all of them having this particular product line in it. (I charge minimum $17.50 shipping for these lots to China because I register them all. Sometimes the buyers are paying as much in shipping as for the stamps!)

Almost as interesting .....
Having sales for 42 days in a row.... and then no sales for 4 days.... back in May 2009
Or...
No sales on Monday and Tuesday.... One sale for $20 on Wednesday... and then no sales on Thursday and Friday... about 4 years ago
Crazy patterns... unique realities.... and then the sales came back with a steady passion...
No sale days.... about 35 per year..... about 10 % of the days each year
Best sale day... close to $1000 in total ... close but not up to $1000 or over....
