So I recently bought an item intended for someone, but unfortunately found out they already had it. I submitted the payment already and it's currently processing through paypal, and the transaction is on hold until the 11th of September
That's fine, I thought, i'll just contact the seller to cancel the transaction. Perhaps i'm jumping the gun a bit here, but I contacted them over 24 hours ago and have not received a response. I decided I should contact eBay just in case the seller does not respond and the payment goes through. I went to the customer support section and found a link to cancel my purchase. I clicked on the item I wanted to cancel and the only option was to contact the seller.
That's doesn't help, so I decided to click on the "email eBay" link and a window for emailing them popped up, but instead of having fields to fill out, it says "page not responding", and I cannot send an email. The annoucement page says there's maintenance from 11pm thursday to 1am friday., but that has long passed.
So, how can I contact eBay now? I want to hopefully get this resolved before the payment goes through
