PayPal question on paying Ebay fees

Morning all,

Just a quick question.

I went to ebay to pay my ebay fees today as I do every month for the last 6 years and when I inputted the same information as I have the last 6 years it says the card was declined.
Now I use my paypal mastercard to pay the fees every month and never had this issue. Just wondering if anyone from paypal or ebay can help me or anyone else have an idea about this? Did they make it so you cannot use the paypal mastervard to pay fees??? just questions oh and yes there is lots of money to cover the fees so thats not the issue.

any help here or direction of who I should talk to would be great.

Time of day might be a factor; I have had my Paypal MCD debit card declined very early in the AM, accepted an hour later.

Have tried again this morning and still doesn't work.

very strange and I see that the .com power sellers are having the same problem?

Apparently paypal has a lot of security issues and they'll put your card in hold if they see anything out of ordinary or if the card hasn't been used for a while.
It's up to you (paypal's mentality) to call in to their non-toll free # and have this issue resolved.
Don't bother emailing them as you'll either get no response or endless form email asking you to log in again.

OK update.
have found out that the Credit Cards will work on the ebay.ca site for payments but not on ebay.com yet.

this just in from ebay PS support people.
