Paypal Reversals - Completely devestated!

I don't get it. I follow all the steps and I still get screwed over. I recently had a tranasaction where 5 days after the items is sent the money is reversed. Paypal did not even contact me information i.e tracking number etc... etc.. I spent hours on the phone trying to solve it. Paypal won't even respond to my E-mails, the buyer will not respond to my E-mail. I can't even leave negative feedback! I'm out $150.00 (290295594557, 290296388321, 300287937288) and am in tears. I just don't understand why or how paypal can do this?! They tell me payment is fine and then they don't even support me afterwards. I mean they should be going to the bank and fighting them for the money not simply saying to bad it didn't work out and taking it from my account. Even worse is this customer is now thinking they can get away with it.... I can't believe I can't even leave negative feedback warning other sellers and buyers! What would you guys do or suggest I do to recieve some justice?
Sincerely,
Alyson

I had the same thing happen to me 2 years ago for a small amount. I just didn't get how a bank payment could be reversed for no reason but just wiped my hands clean of it.

I too do not trust paypal whatsoever based on my own experiences with them.

Several years ago I learned a big lesson about how companies will try to screw you. I had a severe burnout and had to fight the insurance company for compensation. I had all my paperwork in order and was entitled to compensation but they simply refused to pay. Why? Because they know most people will lay down without a fight. It was an unpleasant process but I fought them and won.

I don't think it's any different with paypal. They are trying to cover their own behinds...and don't give a rat's a$$ about ours.

You'll just have to fight them.

Did you consider calling FTC and ask them what to do? You might get an advice from people who tell PayPal what it can and cannot do.

Generally, when you have a grievance with someone who is not willing to resolve it, you should take it above them or forget it.

Is it to late to file a non-payment dispute with ebay, because you did not receive payment for your item. Then you would at least get the FVF back, and they would get a non payment strike, just thought

It really doesnt help recover the funds, if anything it will just make matters worse. The buyer has been pretty great in corresponding with me. I dont want to push my luck with a silly dispute that will recover $15 bucks.

I guess an E-bay reps been poking around in here because one of them sent me link and numbers to file claims with people higher up. As a university student I just donèt have the time to spend fighting with people that go nowhere and I can afford the loss either! Go figure. I have given up on paypal Ive mailed them over a dozen times and called numerously. Everyone says they will get back to me and they dont - nobody will even give me there direct line - only e-mail contacts and they never respond.
I just wished paypal was more responsible for their transactions. Should not all buyers be eligiable for coverage... shouldnt that be mandadtory these day and ages. Ebay suggested I contact her credit card company but would paypal be allowed to give the information to me.. sooo many circles... So tired of thinking about it. Paypal just wants their money at whatever cost.

First, contact US Postal and file a mail fraud case (easy to do on their website). Second, email the buyer and let them know you will be contacting the local Police. We received payment less than a week after doing this...if this person is trying to scam you don't sit back and wait for Paypal to

Thanks for the information Jerseypros! That sounds like a good idea.. Im really hoping the buyer will resubmit there fees... and I wont have to resort to it...by the way what is considered mail fraud these days...

econd, email the buyer and let them know you will be contacting the local Police

From what I have heard police won't bother with cases involving less than 4 digit sums. Maybe just an urban legend though.
