Why can't we go on the power seller's board on ebay.com?

Hi yanisa_biz,

We have added a Canadian PowerSeller Discussion board for users who only want to speak to other Canadian PowerSellers. However, you are still able to go to the PowerSeller's board on ebay.com.

The best way to get there is to sign in at the PowerSeller hub page at http://pages.ebay.ca/services/buyandsell/powersellers.html. You will see a link to the U.S. board at the top right. Click there. Here is the direct link to the board.

Please let us know if you continue to have any problems getting to both boards.

There is no link on the top right.

The direct link does work.

BTW, there has been no announcement of the new board. Are there any other benefits?

I DON'T want to be forced to come to this Canadian site, and now every time I log in it brings me here. How do I stop this? Ya, sure, I'm Canadian, but this is NOT the site I want to be at. I've never had dealings with ebay.ca so why is this happening? Please tell me how to get to where I'm used to going!!!!!!!!

You know, this is disgraceful. I want to go to the area that I am USED to going to. I want to report some listings and there is nowhere where I can find this now. Why are you forcing people to be segregated like this. How ridiculous!!!

Why should it be so difficult to make a report? Answers please, ebay?????

Why can't you go to the Power Seller board on ebay.com? Just bookmark it in your favorite places.

This is really bugging me. I want to know why when I go through the normal, or regular channels, that I'm automatically being redirected to ebay canada. I have no interest in that (no offense, but I like to do things the way I'm used to doing things.) How can I get to the home page of the regular powersellers instead of the ebay.ca one?

I'm also having trouble finding any links to report here in the ebay.ca. I'm frustrated beyond words. :o(

When you go to the main page of Canadian PS,

http://pages.ebay.ca/services/buyandsell/powersellers.html

It allows you to sign in to the main PS page, Then you can "sign in now", right?

Top right, there is a link to eBay.com.

There's power seller support too. And the link to the PS discussion board.

As for reporting, I don't know if you mean reporting particular posting offenses or what. Try Moira in the opening thread.

Or, you can just change the forum # in the address bar - Canadian board is 44, eBay.com is 76.

I think maybe I came across too strongly in my earlier posts about not wanting to be on ebay.ca but it was my frustration talking.

I certainly will be looking on here on a regular basis, as I'm finding a lot of very helpful friendly people here. My anger is with the fact that ebay is just assuming that I want to come to this site and don't give me the option. Automatically being redirected here after all this time without my requesting it is just not right.

I'm not finding any of the links mentioned earlier. (in the top right corner....there is NOTHING there). Oh well,I'll figure it out somehow.

I had a hard time getting into the US boards too,the first time. But once I got there,I just copied (drag & drop)the URL to my browser and I just click on the button to go there. It's now actually more work to come in here. Oh man...I may have gone to Loblaws....I don't remember ;=)
