Hey folks. I know a few months back a few of us wrote that our dashboards showed no Powerseller discount yet the discounts were reflected on our invoices. Even though many of us contacted eBay support we got no useful answers and the dashboard problem is still unresolved.

Then a few weeks ago someone posted here and mentioned that eBay support told them a Canadian Powerseller cannot receive a Powerseller discount unless they meet the Powerseller requirements on Canadian sales only.

Eureka! So now I am asking myself if this is the reason why some of us are not showing Powerseller discounts on the dashboard but are shwowing discounts on our invoices. Could it be that we get no Powerseller discount but do receive the TRS discount? I can't seem to wrap my head around this. Can anyone make heads or tails of how the Powerseller and TRS discounts work in conjunction with each other? Do we get both or is it only one or the other? Does it really matter? Aren't they supposed to phase out the Powerseller discounts anyway?

I have found the perfect way to deal with all of this.

I am ignoring it until the dust settles.

At that point, I intend to continue ignoring it.

Listen to surplusdealdude - it's the best advise.

I figured it all out and confirmed it with my January invoice. I received both discounts - both being around what I was expecting.

I won't be the least bit surprised if I have to teach myself the whole convoluted process again this spring...
