I have no idea why your invoice amount would change but fvf is not automatically given so you have to file a mutual.

Refund 100 % without a cancellation and it is a defect... If the rules are read correctly....

In my understanding when a case is opened for INR and INAD and we respond by issue full refund, the fvf was refunded automatically, and the system won't allow us to open cancellation request.

You're right, it is refunded automatically. I guess it has been a while since I've had an inr case opened.
(that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it! )

Unrelated question about refunds, but don't want a new thread. I refunded a Paypal purchase and the buyer used a credit card. Any idea how long it takes for the funds to be received at the other end? Paypal's info says up to 30 days, but any feedback on real life?
Thanks

It usually takes only 2 or 3 business days, but if the seller has no money in his paypal account
the refund can take 2 weeks or more to get back onto the card.
I suppose that's sort of the inverse of sellers receiving e-cheques.
Paypal's 30-day thing is likely the absolute outside most it could take and stating it that way may
offset impatience and panic. Unless, of course, the card user does not bother to call and verify
the refund, relying only on the statement when it arrives, then yes, it may take a month to appear on
the next statement, even though the transaction has already processed much earlier.
