Darni t! My question got erased?
Here is the low-down:
* In May I purchased a ebook DVD here on ebay
* I have been diagnosed and trying to overcome several mental illnesses since April
* Had to download and us WinZip to extract the "ebooks" from this DVD
* Did not thoroughly look through ebook DVD, my computer was having too many issues for me to dedicate time to explore this DVD
* Saved what files I could onto a USB stick for future reading - when time permitted me
* I have also been trying to successfully start, run, operate an ebay store
* Since May I have been having EXTREME difficulties with my computer and it has limited my exsistence in the computer world - has created a lot of undue stress - both in my home and for my ebay store
* Put computer into shop for repair - could not deal with issues/random events happening on my computer anymore, yesterday (September 18 2012)
* Computer came back with a report of 5 Trojan Horse Viruses from this particular DVD I purchased
To be blunt, I am pissed. This one DVD has caused me so much stress in my life. This stress from my computer on top of trying to deal with and overcome multiple personal issues has had me tied up in knots.
Now that I know WHY my computer was not functioning properly and I know the CAUSE of it, can anyone help me as to what optins I have.
The seller must be held responsible for this, in my opinion. I have not yet contacted the seller as I wanted to hear some words of wisdom from you guys first.
Is there any avenue I can take for this? Does this fall within ebay's policies somehow? Is there any method/procedure I must follow in order for proper rectification to happen?
If you only knew the hell I've been trying to fight and the multiple arguments I have had with my husband because of my computer issues.
I don't mean to bring in such personal information around this subject, but my personal life HAS been deeply affected by this idiot who sold me this virus ridden DVD.
