Prohibited items being sold?? Knife category.

Recently I contacted e-bay about policies being broken by  some sellers regarding illegal and or prohibited items. It states that knives using the term "BAT" or "BATMAN" in any way are not allowed to be sold as I found out the hard way. Also, it was my understanding that "PEPPER SPRAY" was prohibited aswell!  It's printed clear as day that "PEPPER SPRAY" is a "prohibited item". Just wondering how some sellers are getting away with this and why???

Am I missing something??

ALL you can do is to click on the "Report" link in the listing if it is violating any policies.

Sometimes it takes a bit of time for ebay to review the listing before it gets removed (depends on the work load).

And sometimes you need to report it more than once.

eBay has millions of active listings at any one time. There are far too many for eBay to check every one for policy violations before the listing becomes active. Among other things,eBay depends on members like you to report suspected violations.
