Question on TSR evaluation.

"When your transaction volume is low to moderate, eBay evaluates your performance based on your count of low ratings received over a 12-month period. When transaction volume is high, we look at your rate (%) of low ratings over a 3-month period."

What's the magic level of transaction volume that changes this from a 12 month period to a 3 month period? Anyone know?

Question on TSR evaluation.

I think it is $1000.00, I have been under that for the past 3 months and now I am evaluated on the low volume over 12 months.

The last 3 months have been brutal, but this month has been great!!

Reason we posted this is that we just noticed several days ago that our discount was from 5% to 20%.

It's about the same time where our feedback crossed 1000 (although that may be entirely coincidental). Having it change from 12 months DSR to 3 months made the difference.

But I can't see the TSR on any of our listings, whether I check on .ca or .com. Does the fact that we list on .ca affect this? Do you have to qualify for TSR on USA sales for it to show on .com?

But logo or not, the discount is on our invoice and we are very pleased. Only place I can find the logo is on our Ebay Invoice.

Wasn't actually expecting to qualify for TSR for some time. In January, our DSR's got hit badly when we had one item sold to several customers whose case broke during transit. Once we realized the case on the routers was problematic, we changed how we were packaging it, but already had a bunch shipped.

On another note - this week, we were successful in getting Ebay to remove a Neutral that had been left to us by a buyer who bought a low end showerhead and then tried to get free shipping or a higher priced showerhead for the same amount.

Question on TSR evaluation.

If you look up a listing on dotcom, you will see the TopRatedSeller badge. The same listing on dotCA will show the PowerSeller badge.

And congratulations on the removal! Was the buyer dumb enough to communicate through Contact seller with his demands, or was it just your good looks and charm? :-x

400 transactions during the 3-month period.

Thanks Surplus - answered my question.

Femme -
Are you seeing a TSR icon on our listings when viewed in .com? Cause I don't.
I see the Powerseller on .ca, but neither on .com.
Which makes me wonder if we get the best match placement on .com or not.

As to the feedback removal - he used the ebay messaging system for all communication - Not the smartest move. I know it was only a neutral, but that it was even left wasn't right as the sale had been an attempted extortion of a higher priced item when he bought the lower priced item. I still don't agree that users can leave feedback after a mutual cancellation. His feedback comment had been "Seller became belligerent when negotiation for item" - when we told him there was no negotiation - if he wanted the higher priced item, all he had to do was pay the price we listed for it.
