Is it just me, or is reporting bugs to ebay a big nuisance?
For one, I can't seem to email them about the bugs. I can only call them or contact live chat. I really don't have time for that. I figure I am doing them a favor and just want to pass the word on in writing. Besides, I find either way you have navigate through to find the right person. More than half of the time the person you speak to is not knowledgeable and I have personally landed myself in very big trouble more than once (lost thousand's of saved listings) following live chat recommendations with turbo lister bugs.
Secondly, many of the bugs I've reported never get fixed! Some of them have been around for the past 2 years...no fix!
Here are some of the bugs:
Canceled items get slipped onto invoices at Checkout even though they were not included on the invoice. The only way to "fix" is to mark the canceled item as being paid. This is a long standing bug.
Markdown manager search narrowing does not completely work. The field on the far right which allows you to display the items by most recent etc. stopped working weeks ago.
Paypal also has a bug where canceled Canada Post shipments are never refunded. Again I have emailed and called them many, many times...still no fix after 18 months and neither CP nor Paypal will take accountability.
