Return lost in the mail

HI guys, I had this buyer purchase a bikini and didn't like the way it fit so she wanted a refund. I state in all my auctions no refunds.
I decided to be nice and give her one so I told her to mail it back and I will gladly refund her.
Yesterday she asked if I got it back yet and I said no. She shipped 2 weeks ago and says she will file a dispute because I never got it.
The address is correct and all. I told her why is it my problem if she mailed it without insurance.
I told her to give it a bit more time with customs.
I honestly believe if it was mailed without insurance I should not refund her that's her problem. Who knows if she's scamming me?

Don't refund unless you receive the garment back.
She can file a dispute - but Paypal will require that she provide proof of return delivery, so she will need to have used tracking or Delivery Confirmation.

Thanks, I thought the same. First she complained the sizing was off on the bikini and I told her it is the correct size, that I do not sell defects. She has been a bit of a problem since she bought it. She threatend me a few times and I just ignored her threats with kind remarks 🙂

hee hee...tables are reversed now...BUYER needs to provide proof of delivery. i had the same (well sort of) same thing happen-someone returned a piece of artwork to me because it was discovered after removing it from the frame it was a photocopy. we mutually decided to have buyer take care of delivery-cost and all. he sends it ups and puts the original thought value on it, and i get it COD 182.00!!! i refused it, of course, sorry, i'm not paying that! and told him it was his mistake that he put the wrong value on it-he said he did it in case it got damaged, and that its my fault, as i didn't tell him NOT to use ups. sorry, you're in charge of sending it back, its up to you to do research on brokerage fees. i told him if he wanted his refund, he'll have to correct it by sending all new documents, which he's doing...
anyways, feels good to have them on the other side of the fence. he said he didn't realize how 'complicated' it was being a seller...

KAT - make sure you ADD her to your BLOCKED list ASAP so like this SHE cannot buy another item just to leave you a NEGATIVE feedback.

Also, she is most likely scamming you - even if she sent the item via snail mail it should have arrived by now.

The fact that she returned it without tracking number shows that she is a scammer cause it would have cost her no more that US$6 to return it with tracking.
