hee hee...tables are reversed now...BUYER needs to provide proof of delivery. i had the same (well sort of) same thing happen-someone returned a piece of artwork to me because it was discovered after removing it from the frame it was a photocopy. we mutually decided to have buyer take care of delivery-cost and all. he sends it ups and puts the original thought value on it, and i get it COD 182.00!!! i refused it, of course, sorry, i'm not paying that! and told him it was his mistake that he put the wrong value on it-he said he did it in case it got damaged, and that its my fault, as i didn't tell him NOT to use ups. sorry, you're in charge of sending it back, its up to you to do research on brokerage fees. i told him if he wanted his refund, he'll have to correct it by sending all new documents, which he's doing...
anyways, feels good to have them on the other side of the fence. he said he didn't realize how 'complicated' it was being a seller...
