Revise negative feedback

I received a defective item that I had bought on Ebay.  The zipper wouldn't open more than halfway and there weren't any pads (it's a bathing suit for women).  So I contacted the seller, asking her to exchange the item.  She refused, claiming that was "normal".  Obviously I left negative feedback.  She contacted me a few days later telling me she would refund me if I changed the feedback so I accepted.  Usually a seller would send a link to revise the feedback, but I never received one.  She said she sent me it, but all I received was a link to the item?  I even went the extra mile and went through all of the Ebay links to change feedback, however, all it shows is "No feedback is illegible for revision."  Please help,  the seller even called my home, asking me to change it.  I tried to explain that I've been trying for days...

Once you leave feedback, you have 30 days to change or remove it.

Feedback can become a permanent part of a seller's record, so as a courtesy, we suggest that you contact a seller to resolve any issues before leaving feedback that’s neutral or negative.

Make sure your comments are fair, factual, and relate to the order that prompted the feedback request. Keep in mind that we don’t allow abusive or profane language. See our profanity policy for details.

Phooey.

Once you change the feedback you will never hear from her again.

Go to the Resolution Centre and open an Item Not As Described dispute.

You have already been in contact with the seller so just go directly to escalating to a Claim.

She will be told to send you a Return Shipping Label.

Once you can show the suit has been returned, she will be forced to refund you.

Here's the problem- unless she is in Canada, she can't do this.

Which means either eBay refunds you when she doesn't send the label

OR you send back the suit on your own dime WITH Confirmation of Delivery.

And don't forget that expensive extra, with what you tell us I wouldn't be at all surprised if she stiffs you on that.

If you are past the deadline for an eBay Dispute, go instead to your PP account and open a Dispute there where the deadline is 180 days.

PP hides its Resolution Centre under Tools at the top of each page.

Here 's the problem.

PP will want you to return the suit on your own dime WITH Confirmation of Delivery. No chance of a refund on that.

But, I would not advise changing the feedback unless you have cash in hand.

I am a cynical and nasty minded old woman.

That being said, you sure have left a lot of negs and neutrals for 'Item Not Received' in the past six months. I'm not entirely surprised that your seller is suspicious.
