Very ironic that the hacker chose the Trust & Safety forum - eBay should consider renaming it the UNTRUSTED & UNSECURE forum -- imagine the horror of the T&S VP when he realized that this hacker just made his department look like a complete bunch of fools. Talk about poor security given their resources - but I guess some of the blame lives with LIVEWORLD as they host the forum and logins are process through their login screen.

I wonder if anyone got fired over this incident?

I believe that was the entire point of him doing that on the T & S board. An outright slap in the face.

Almost worse is the eBay member who took screen shots of the lists of names and Credit card info and posted it to YouTube. Nice.

Somebody should let eBay know about that. That's bad! Did they block the cc info? I hope so. I'll go looking later. :(
