WHAT IS BUYER SUPPOSE TO DO IF THEY GET THE ITEM AND TRY TO ACTIVATE IT ON THERE COMPUTER AND IT SAYS SORRY THIS UNIT HAS BEEN USED? AND WHAT IF A SELLER SENDS A BURNT COPY OF THE OS?  DOES EBAY HAVE A POLICY OF THIS? THANKS  I WAS TOLD I  NEED BOTH CD ROM AND THE PRODUCT KEY IN ORDER TO GET INSTALLED:

I will add it sounds as though you purchased Windows from a seller who may not have been entirely honest about its origin. You have to be careful about buying software on eBay, there are lots of unscrupulous sellers who have no issue selling counterfeit goods.

The old saying goes, if it looks to good to be true, it probably is.

Yes I got stickers before for an os and I called in told them number of the sticker o sorry it has been used U cant use it. and I have had people in my area offer burn copy of the OS etc. I will not take offers of burnt copys from anyone:
