Seller marked item as payment received, but I never paid it

Hi everyone  I recently won an auction and the seller marked the item as payment received, but I never paid it by Paypal! I try to pay it by clicking on "Pay now", but it says I already paid the item even though I never did. Anyone as any idea why? Thanks a lot

yes, the transaction never happened in my account.

OK, ask the seller to send you an invoice and pay from the invoice.

yeah, that's what I did, no responce yet... he said that he had no other choice but to relist the item so that I could pay for it, which I'm not sure...

That does not make sense.

He can easily send you an invoice through PayPal withour relisting.  Something is "fishy" on the seller's side.

This is a $10 transaction.  The seller is also in Canada.  You may suggest that you will mail him the $10 (plus shipping) and forget using PayPal.

I think that he's trying to get out of this transaction because the item I bought is worth much more than 10$
