Time to move on with a new phase in my life. 8 years is enough I think.....
New full-time job, been promoted after 2 months and training to be a manager.
4 kids...coming home from work to then "work" again...time to dedicate myself elsewhere 🙂
Thanks to everyone over the years, all the help and opinions. I wish you all the best of luck with your eBay endeavors.
Last question....how do I avoid this $119 early store subscription cancellation fee

How much time do you have left on your store subscription? Maybe just hang in there and keep listing until the end of the subscription?
Congrats on the new job and promising prospects, though
Personally I haven't listed anything new (even though I did bought hundreds of new books the last two years) because of the similar reason, I'm already quite tired with my full-time job and it's hard to spare more time on eBay when sales have been slow. As mentioned in another post, my October has been so dead that my eBay revenue was less than my hourly pay at work, it makes no sense to add more listings when I could've gone to work instead, which is precisely what I do.

Congratulations and best wishes!
I'd suggest re-opening your Store and putting all the currently closed listings on Fixed Price/ Good Til Cancelled until the Store subscription runs out or you have $119 profit to pay off the closeout fee.
Four kids? Surely one of them is old enough to take over? EBay tells us selling here is easy peasy.

The info on the subscription screen shows a renewal date of "01/06/17".....so is that June 1st or Jan 6th??

I have the money in PayPal to pay the fee. Just want to avoid it altogether.
Haha...my oldest is 8yrs but I'm sure she'd want to try!

Congratulations on your promotion, Steve, and best wishes for your new career. We'll miss you on the Boards.
You have a full-time job, four kids and over 16,000 feedback which means you probably have sold over 20,000 items. You've been working very hard, so it's nice that you'll now have more time to spend with your family.

No idea, I don't have store subscription... what level is your store at? Maybe someone can figure it out 🙂

I believe that the store subscription option started in may or June so if Steve has a subscription right from the beginning the end date is probably June 1.

I think you're right.
Might just run things until then, sell off as much back-stock as I can and gear things down to an end point of closing.
Time management will be the key.
