Sound Fair?

Hi everyone,

 I would like to hear your opinions on a recent problem I had with an order.

 The order was for a set of 3 items that were fragile. When it arrived I opened the box and immediately saw the head and another piece from the second figurine lying there. I thought the 3rd one might have escaped unscathed but it too had a piece broken off.

 I'm sure the seller sent the items damage free. However, I feel the items were not packaged as carefully as they could have been.

 They were in a smaller box which was not taped just put in a plastic bag. The bag was put in a bigger box which was quite a bit bigger, probably more than was necessary, was lined on the bottom with newspaper. There was also newspaper put on top of the small box before the big box it was taped shut. 

 Upon opening the box and lifting the top layer of newspaper I immediately saw the head and the other broken piece lying there. The small box was halfway out the plastic bag and partially opened. There was a piece of bubble wrap around one figurine but it wasn't taped so even that figurine was damaged. I found the missing piece at the bottom of the plastic bag.

 The pieces can be glued back on but I'm really disappointed as I wanted an unblemished set.

 The seller has offered me a partial refund for half the total cost. 

 What do you think? Fair or not?

How expensive was this order.

Would you be happy with a glued together set.

If you file a claim with paypal you will probably have

to send the broken items back with Delivery Confirmation at your cost

unless the seller agrees to pay for return delivery.

Choir boys ? probably have 50/60 invested. Fair , no it is not fair. Seller's obligation is to deliver your items as purchased. A good seller would accept a photo of the broken items and refund.

As stated previously , under a PayPal claim , may have to return US expedited ( Approx $15.) to recover your full payment. You do the math in your best interest.
