Whoa - never mind all this political mumbo jumbo - our prime purpose is to deal on eBay. I just sold my most expensive item ever $1950.00. Now I am all nervous. I just realized I have not covered all of the shipping costs in my listing. That's ok though, I did ok on the item. But I need extra for insurance and Express Post with signature. I will double pack it today, send it out and hope it makes it there in one piece and that the buyer likes it and gives me good feedback.
Oh the stress - the stress.

That is the best kind of stress there is. The stress of success. Good for you.

A queston for someone out there. On a big ticket item - which is better, using Paypal to get an Express Post label or going to the Post Office and doing it there using Venture One?
I ask because the last time I tried to print a Papal Express Post label - it would not let me access the signature option nor was the discount very much.

IMO Paypal is clearly best because the buyer receives a confirmation email.

Congratulations! I read your page and with all the trouble you take to package for shipping, I'm sure it will arrive in great condition and the customer will be thrilled. Great start to a new year!

Thanks for all the encouragement.
Is there any out there who uses Express Post regularly? Is the siganture option not available in the PayPal lables because signature acceptance is aready included in Express Post?

I use xpress post 80% of the time or anytime it's over $200. If you "check" the signed for service - you will get an error message when trying to print. Don't click that box. For international and USA - xpresspost is AUTOMATICALLY signed for - so don't need to click on that. Maximum insurance available is upto $1000 I believe. I usually Never insure it as cost to insure on xpresspost is very much As long as I send it xpresspost - they have NEVER lost a package. I have never had anything ever break as I do bomb proof it - so I do not insure it. It sounds like you pack well... I always used paypal shipping label and always make triple copies - 2 to go on the package and one to keep for my records. I know that we have the bottom portion of it - but a full copy will show ALL including the shipping address if you ever needed it for paypal (from experience). Hope this helps a bit.
Good luck.
