I thought it worthwhile to post this "other way around" way of looking at this.
Had a $300 plus sale last night to a gibberish ebay id (the automagic ones assigned) with zero feedback.
Generally this would be viewed as a worrisome thing...
However it is a regular buyer, he bought something same size, same time last year, and something the same sized the year before...each time a gibberish id and zero feedack.
If I blocked zero feedback buyers, I'd be out over $1,000 of sales in the last 3 years, just on this one buyer.....

So he signs in as a 'guest' once a year?
KISS- no need to remember yet another password.
Love those repeat customers!

I guess, I suspect they see something they like, they click buyit now with credit card in hand and it automagically asks for the information it needs to create the guest id etc for them to pay.... I really don't know because I've never used a guest id before.
I do know that a portion of my buyers are somewhat computer illiterate, so they only do what they have to to actually buy the item...

nerd--- Completely off-topic but I've been watching "Halt and Catch Fire" on AMC, which deals with the computer business in the mid-80s.
One of the characters , Gordon, is a ham radio guy and just taught the girl genius computer punk how to build and use a set.
And he runs his rig out of a storage closet.
