The seller agreed to cancel the transaction but no action yet 3 days after the auction has ended. What should I do to prevent an unpaid record on my account ?
thank you

The seller is charging 2 sets of shipping charges. I talked to them and they said they'd cancel the transaction but they haven't yet.

If the seller was not using the Global Shipping Program you would probably still be paying the border clearance fee, the duty and the sales tax.
However, the clearance fee would be Canada Post's $10, not the courier's $25 or more, and postal workers are often too busy moving the mail to bother charging and collecting duty and taxes.
In future, ask your American sellers BEFORE bidding if they are using this program. Most do not understand that while it saves them a few cents, that it costs their customers many dollars.

Hi .. Your item of the 21st? Seller is not charging twice. Seller is using eBay's new Global Shipping Program operated by Pitney Bowes with Canada Customs duty/taxes/fees paid at checkout rather than on delivery. I see roughly $48.00 for importing that item.

When viewing listing , in top part under shipping will see for US sellers using Global...Import charges..to be provided at checkout. Your decision to buy or pass.
