I'm glad you posted this. I haven't been able to access the .com boards either. This is what I get when I try:

Obviously the boards on .ca work, and I was also able to access the .co.uk and .com.au boards.  So the problem seems to be affecting .com only. Maybe they're busy changing their horrible user interface. If only...

Oh my goodness, what a waste of space! I have to scroll down forever on my iPad. It must be nearly impossible to read on an iPhone (which I don't have). Don't think I'll be reading the .com boards much now.
