Vehicle Sales Anyone?

I am glad I am a part of the Powerseller community now as I find I've learned more in this forum than any of the other forums... even the specific forums that should address concerns.

Take for example posting to the Canada Motors Speedway forum. I have posted a few questions on that board but really never get answers. I see old posts there that have never been addressed after months.

So, I shall ask here on the REAL help board and see what I can get...

Has anyone sold a vehicle on eBay before? I have a TA business that has generated a lead from a certified 5-star Chrysler dealer in my area to sell off some excess inventory. I created a CARad account and set up 20 vehicles ready for posting. At the last minute, CARad tells you your items are posting to eBay.com (and subject to the $50 insertion fee versus the Canadian $5 insertion fee). As Chrysler Canada has only authorized the dealership and myself to sell these vehicles to Canadians, I was at a standstill on getting them listed. The only way to use CARad is to post to .com only.

Here is the dilemma... after an exhausting day of online help, live help and phone support (6 hours), eBay.ca cannot explain why there are no tools listed on the 'listing tools' page of motors.ebay.ca that Canadian auto sellers can actually use to sell in Canada. I find this amazing that each and every link to eBay authorizes to help list vehicles will not post to ebay.ca.

So, after a long-winded rant, has anyone sold vehicles in Canada and if so, do you know of a listing software that is Canadian eBay friendly?

Checkout the following - may meet your needs but then again costs might be prohibitive depending on the number of units you have to list and sell.

Also, simply goto GOOGLE.CA and check of the CANADA ONLY option and enter a keyword string like "CANADIAN EBAY MOTORS LISTING SOFTWARE" will return alot of results that you can browse through.

Thanks Futuretech, but I've already checked these guys out. The CANADA ONLY option already provided me with all the usual suspects. They will all let you use their service but at the end of the day they all only post to eBay Motors.com forcing Canadians to pay $58 insertions as opposed to $5 insertions in Canada.

eBay's recommendation was to "harass" CARad with constant emails asking when their service would be usable on eBay Motors.ca and so far this has been the more fun option 😄
