Volunteers Needed for eBay On The Road in St. Catharines, Waterloo, Markham

Hi everyone,

I am hoping many of you in Ontario will be attending eBay.ca On The Road sessions over the next 2 weeks. I am looking for Volunteers who are enthusiastic about eBay and would like to help out at the registration area. I promise it is light work! It is going to be busy, and it's a great chance to meet and help other eBayers! You will have to arrive 1 hour prior to the sessions.

There are great perks to being a volunteer, a special ebay gift of thanks and a chance to chat with our staff, and meet tons of other eBay users. I will be at every On The Road this year, and I hope to get lots of participation from the community to help make it as much fun as the last 2 years.

eBay.ca On The Road is coming to St. Catharines, Waterloo and Markham in May. Don’t miss your opportunity to learn all about buying and selling on eBay from the experts - right in your hometown. This year we are featuring two courses, a networking hour and a new format for Questions & Answers.

eBay Explained
This course will cover everything you need to know to get started buying and selling on eBay. It also features proven tips on how to be successful and how to stay safe online.

eBay Selling
This course assumes you already know how to use the site but you want to start selling on eBay. It includes everything from the basics of listing an item to selling strategies that will help you succeed.

Oh yes, I booked my flight to San Francisco, and I will be in the Pinks Lounge at the events, and hunting down other Canadian eBayers.

This is my third eBay Live, and I look forward to it every year, so much energy in one room, and makes me remember how huge eBay is, as opposed to our small office here in CA.

Where do I register to take the course selling on eBay? I would really prefer to take both courses but I don't know if it's possible in one day. What do you think Carly?

Ontario for some people including politicians ends at North Bay and begins at Windsor. Industries and politicians and alot of Ontarians do not know Ontario exsists west of North Bay. I have an idea...Carly, why don't you set up a course in Thunder Bay Ont? Surprising enough, there is a whole lot of interest up here for E-Bay.

They did get to Thunder Bay and Sudbury 2 years ago on their cross Canafa tour. You never know :)

I'll help you out at the St. Catharines one. Maybe the Markham one too. I don't know yet. Just let me know the details. I was thinking about taking the course but I think I know most of the info they're going to go over anyways. 🙂

I enjoyed chatting with other eBayers more than anything last year. What kind of goodies do people registering for the course get? 😛 I want a MAGNET!! Yes I am a 2 year old trapped in a 40 year old body. lol :-p

i was supposed to volunteer in markham...i did email to let Carly know that I won't be able to. My son broke his arm and his follow-up and xrays (and cast removal) is set for that day. *sigh*

:-) a broken bone was bound to happen sooner or later, having 3 boys. they were running playing tag when my 5 year old tripped over the 4 year old, and both fell down. the force of it cracked the bone just above the elbow.

he got to choose the colour of his fiberglass cast; he chose bright orange. the thing practically glows!
