Warranty issue!

I bought an item on September 5. I received it and it would not work and I was able to contact the seller and we arranged for me to ship it back under warranty. I shipped it back September 12. I did not hear from them in a month so I messaged them again on October 8 inquiring about it. They told me they had received it and it had been sent back to manufacturer for the repairs, and that they would contact me again soon with updates. That was the last I had heard from him.

 

I've since done an information request through ebay to get a phone number to contact them, and every time I call, the guy I need to speak with isn't there. It's usually a female I'm assuming his wife or girlfriend who is answering. The item was worth over 200$, so do I just cut this as a loss and go find a new one or is this worth pursing?

Warranty issue!

 It is too late to put a claim with ebay/paypal but I doubt if it's too late for a chargeback with your credit card,let him keep the item .
