What do you do when Ebay won't aid in Feedback removal.

We get Negative Feedback from a buyer...okay thats fine our carrier lost his shipment. After much deliberation we provided him with a refund. Here's the thing, he had three outstanding purchases for which he has decided not to pay for in light of his last purchase. Rather than retract his bid he leaves us 3 negatives. Ebay says that he is entitled to his feedback. WE say he abused the feedback system that states you can't leave negative feedback with no intention on making a transaction. We beleive it is ebay's duty to protect us from this kind of slander and abuse. Twice we have tried to get it removed and we have been denied each time. We are still pressing Ebay to do it's job but We have very low expectations for this issue to be resolved within Trust and Safety. If anybody can give is suggestions on how to deal with this problem we would be very appreciative.

Why didn't you post negatives on the other two auctions? File for non paying bidder. Then he may want to reconsider.

As for ebay, I have found it hard for them to remove feedback. If you are silver, you may want to phone.

I have also heard that if you ask many times, then feedback may get removed. Just have to get the right employee.

I have threatened legal action 3 times so far against bozos who left me a neg and a bad comment (uncalled for) causing all three people filed for ST to remove the neg they left me.

One idiot even called the law firm I told him would be representing me and when he called them they confirmed they they are retained to represent me and whamo, 2 seconds later his $20 is paid to ST and within 24 hours the negs removed.

The little a$$holes dont realize that for many of us, this is a business and public defamation of character and lies about the transaction can hurt our business. I make them pay for their bold and thoughtless act.

This is one reason that I dont wholeheartedly support the existing eBay FB system and I sure dont break my backside looking for FB, positive, negative or neutral from anyone.

However those that have left me negative have been dealt a severe blow from me because I take my business seriously and I wont wait nor beg for the eBay system to work for me, rather preferring to use whatever tools I have at my disposal.

There is nothing like waking these people up with the harsh and cold reality that what they have done is reclessly caused damage to a legitimate business and under the law of torts can be held financially responsible for their actions and subsequent costs to the business.

Those costs by the way can be measured in months if not years worth of loss of sales as a direct result of their slander.

I guaranty it sure wakes these people up that eBay is not a game or a hoby for many sellers and I also guaranty they they will not be as free with firing off negs in the future.
