What to do when a seller won't respond to my questions about an item?

I submitted a question to a seller (through ebay of course) about shipping and the specific condition of an item they have listed for sale. Twelve days later, I hadn't received a reply so I resent the questions. It has now been 48 hours since the second time that I sent my questions and  still no response.

Though I would really like to bid on the item (no one else has at this point and it's been relisted a couple of times), I'm thinking it may be best not to deal with a seller who doesn't reply to basic questions. It makes me think that they're hiding something. Am I correct to feel this way? I'm kinda new to ebay so any input would be appreciated!,

Forget that seller and move on to someone else.

I agree, best to forget this seller and move on to other sellers.

I always think if anyone cannot respond, they cannot be that good or may have possible problems which are not worth it.

Is the seller located in the US? If he is, maybe he doesn't ship internationally? What is the item number?

trash him , you don't need him, you are the buyer, lots of excellent
sellers to work with, listen to your gut instinct and move on

The seller is in the U.S. And he does ship internationally because I've purchased from him before - without a problem. The transaction went well on both sides but now he won't reply to my questions about this item. So I took a pass. And the item has now sold so I'll be interested to check the feedback on it. (Thanks for replying to my question!)
