When are Ebay and sellers going to demand their money back on shipping? I made 2 orders 10 days ago and they were promptly shipped but have received neither and tracking does not work. With a postal strike coming I don't want to wait till winter for my parts. Apparently they were shipped UPS who gave them to Puralator who then gives them to Canada Post who then must send them to China or something before they come to me. This is common not just on these orders and is very frustrating.

Ten days would be very very rapid service. Like ExpressPost service-- which costs $14 for an envelope btw.
In my 30 -odd years of experience in mail order, it takes up to about 20 days for delivery from North America and about 30 days from Asia.
For some reason, possibly heavy use of Air Mail, European orders tend to arrive in about two weeks.
Note that these are normal, but often you will be pleasantly surprised.
As a rule of thumb, if you have a deadline, do not order anything by mail. This is not just eBay, it's LLBean or Amazon or Hazelton Gift Baskets.
If a shipment does not turn up within the period eBay gave you , you can open a Dispute.
Many sellers, especially on low cost items do not use expensive tracking.
Tracking, btw, is used by Sellers to protect themselves against phoney claims of non-delivery. It does not speed up shipping nor does it insure gentler treatment.

Oh. So there is a tracking number?
Most couriers don't service rural or isolated destinations. Most of those sub-contract to cheaper shippers-- and that is usually Canada Post, which delivers everywhere.
Or is this a Global Shipping Program shipment?

What remote part of Canada are you shipping to? Are you new to online shopping? Maybe it isn't for you.
All purchases made online take time to arrive, that's the trade-off for being able to find anything in the world you want at any time of the day or night: you have to wait for it to arrive and if you happen to live 567 km from the Middle Of Nowhere, you're in for a wait to get it.
