Last minute bidding is when you bid in the last minute also known as sniping.

I would never wait until the last minute to bid because things can go wrong with the internet causing your bid not to reach the final eBay server in time.

Most people recommend that you simply bid once and bid your maximum eBay will then enter incremental bids on your behalf up to your maximum.
